They eliminated the slop in the suspension system, tightening the tolerances around the hinge pins, reduced the fore and aft movement of the A-arms at both the inner hinge pin and at the axle carriers by better than 90% and improved the durability dramatically (they’re made by RPM, enough said). As a bonus, they cut 6.5 grams of weight off of each A-arm! That’s a total loss of just under one ounce of weight simply by replacing your stock A-arms with the RPM versions!
We can’t forget about how much better aesthetically the RPM versions look either. This is the RPM E-Revo 2.0 Front Right Suspension Arm Set, including the front right upper and lower arms. While Traxxas may have beefed up the Revo 2.0 suspension arms, they’re still not nearly as tough as RPM versions, nor are they as light. RPM A-arms weigh in 5 grams less than stock, per side, for a total weight loss of 10 grams!

RPM Traxxas X-Maxx Oversized Front Axle Carriers feature increased durability and larger inner bearings. Stock bearings are a mere 20x27x4mm while the oversized bearings RPM uses are gigantic a 20x32x7mm. This delivers a load rating that is nearly 300% higher than the stock bearings while the static load rating is over 300% higher. That’s triple the strength of the stock inner bearings.

RPM81732, RPM Traxxas X-Maxx Oversized Rear Axle Carriers
RPM Oversized Rear Axle Carriers for the Traxxas X-Maxx were designed to solve two key issues reported by owners of this beast of a truck. The first being durability - these carriers are designed to handle some serious abuse. RPM Oversized Axle Carriers feature massive support ribs for the strongest possible carriers available.
The other major improvement is larger inner axle bearings. The stock inner bearings are a mere 20x27x4mm. The oversized bearings are gigantic 20x32x7mm bearings! That’s 5mm larger on the diameter and 3mm on the width! That equates to a dynamic load rating that is nearly 300% higher than the stock bearing while the static load rating is over 300% higher! The differences are so dramatic you’ll wonder why these didn’t come stock.
RPM Oversized Rear Axle Carriers are molded in black and backed by the RPM limited lifetime warranty against breakage. You can’t go wrong with RPM parts on your X-Maxx.NOTE: RPM Oversized Rear Axle Carriers replace the stock Traxxas TRA7752 part. RPM70982, RPM Traxxas Sledge Front Bumper & Skid Plate (Black)
RPM Traxxas Sledge Front Bumper and Skid Plate. The RPM Front Bumper and Skid Plate for the Traxxas Sledge is a unique design that works with the Traxxas body mounting mechanism. Traxxas designed the body mounting system to move forward instead of rearward. Because it moves forward by well over 1" (25mm), it severely limits bumper design. However, RPM engineers found a way to incorporate a fully functioning bumper with the Traxxas body mounting system.
RPM eliminated the stock bumper and replaced it with a hinge pin retainer, since realistically, that's all the stock bumper really is. Next, they eliminated the stock skid plate in favor of a wider, longer and more protective skid. Lastly, they bolted a unique bumper to the front of the skid plate. The RPM Front Bumper and Skid Plate for the Traxxas Sledge sits below the body, which allows the body mounting system full range of motion, yet the Sledge finally has some tough, RPM front end protection.
NOTES: The RPM Front Bumper and Skid Plate is designed specifically for the Traxxas Sledge and replaces the bumper and skid plate from stock Traxxas (TRA9535).

RPM70510, RPM Traxxas X-Maxx Threaded Hinge Pin Set
This is an optional RPM Threaded Hinge Pin Set for the Traxxas X-Maxx. RPM Threaded Hinge Pins work with stock Traxxas A-arms as well as RPM A-arms, are manufactured from stainless steel and are tough as nails! If you’ve lost or damaged your stock hinge pins, or perhaps you’re tired of losing those tiny hinge pin retaining screws, give RPM threaded hinge pins a shot and never look back!
Tech Notes: RPM Threaded Hinge Pins are 4mm x 56mm and work in the outer A-arm hinge pin location. Each kit comes with 4 – threaded hinge pins and 4 – M3 locknuts. Our hinge pins can be used as a replacement for CEN GS025 hinge pins as well but RPM versions use a 3mm locknut instead of a 4mm version. When used with the X-Maxx (using stock or RPM A-arms), some minor modification of the A-arms is required for the hinge pins to fit (see instructions for more information).

This is a set of RPM Front Upper & Lower A-Arms, and are intended for use with the Traxxas 1/16 E-Revo. Upon the release of the 1/16th Scale Traxxas Mini E-Revo, RPM immediately started receiving requests for durability upgrades. What better place to start than the front A-arms? With RPM's guaranteed unbreakable material and a proven A-arm design based off of their larger, 1/10th scale Revo A-arms durability for these little powerhouse trucks has finally arrived!
Another problem that has been eliminated was slop in the suspension system. In some cases, as much as 1/32” of slop is found in the stock A-arms! That problem has been solved with these new RPM versions. RPM A-arms eliminate nearly all of the A-arm slop, which allows camber, caster and toe angle settings to be more solidly fixed in position. The result is smoother, more consistent steering and suspension movement with a significantly reduced tendency for the truck to randomly wander while driving. These arms also feature angled leading and trailing edges. RPM incorporates a 30-degree bevel in these areas, which reduces the chance of breaking suspension parts since the A-arm will naturally try to transition over objects instead of bluntly plowing into them.
RPM front A-arms for the Traxxas Mini E-Revo are sold in sets of four – both upper and both lower a-arms, and are backed by RPM's industry-leading breakage warranty. If it breaks (under normal operating conditions), send it to RPM and they will replace it!

This is an optional RPM Slash LCG 4x4 & Rally Nerf Bar Set. The chassis layouts of the 1/10th scale Rally LCG & Slash 4x4 LCG changed the original design of the stock nerf bars, making the RPM80622 & RPM80625 nerf bars unusable. These LCG nerf bars fix that problem and are a direct, perfect fit!
RPM LCG Nerf Bars have added structural support to help strengthen the body and reduce impact forces transferred to Black Nerf Bars for the 1/10th Rally, LCG Slash 2wd & LCG Slash 4x4. The additional cross bracing optimizes the rigidity while absorbing additional impact energy anything less than RPM would have crumpled under!
